Now just to send them in, because it was 20 bucks a pop to e-file and f' that after having to get 3 states total with only one being free and the other two being 30 ea. Although next year I do get to write it off on my tax prep expenses. So the final breakdown:
Feds - paying me - 2011
Kansas - paying me - 263
Missouri - I pay - 62
Nebraska - I pay - 3
So the difference - 2209 - paid to me!!! woot woot
Although I'm going to have to mail a lot of things and find a stapler, then when it comes in I have to figure out which bills to pay... I was thinking to pay off the loan and and then a cc.... but now I don't know... maybe well many options...
I was looking at perhaps paying the loan and getting another, because the loan doesn't show up on my credit report....*grin*
So 2209 although technically in the account I'll have 2274 I'll est. low after the others returns have been paid:
minus 1384.4
equals 824.6
then maybe just the Best Buy that will be due this year AKA everything but the plasma, which I am already paying off all but one with this months payment in the budget now so approximately 325.9
which would then take me down to 498.7
thus having only to pay $25 each month to get the tv paid off before any interest was due in 09 of 2010, but with technically less payments if I needed it around about $14 or $10 I can't remember.....
Okay so that leaves the following options...
A. My high payment/high limit of each month with almost a 2500 balance - 18 left and 108.61 waiting to post to it this month so 2373.39
B. My next highest avg payment with 1000 limit that gives me points and free credit scores each month with a current balance, due to my low current income, of 965.04 then minus this months scheduled payment, 921.34
C. Christopher's card at 1425.73 with a yet to be named payment this month with an avg of the lowest of the 3 biggies payments, however, only a max of 1500.
D. Many not so productive options like paying it towards the car which I need about 4,000 on to get a refinance loan on, but don't know if that's worth it, okay it is, but I still hate the car, and that would extend how long I have to pay for it....
or just throwing some towards Chris' car, the Condo Mortgage, or even paying ahead on storage fees. So in reality D, is not an option.
Thinking do I that, paying Best Buy down is definitely the way to go with the money first off since that has no interest at present. Then take that remaining 498.7 towards A since Chris wants to pay his down himself, he stated now, thus making A be around 1874.69, and then take out a loan for 2000 the next week after paying off the first one or perhaps even a month later then take that 2000 and subtract the 1874.69 first so that would only leave 125.31 left from the start up of 2000.
Which I could then in turn use for either the first payment or towards option B, reducing it to 839.73 and thus my overall reported credit card debt to the 3000 - 3999 range instead of the 5000 - 5999 or slightly higher range that it's in now because this month has yet to have been paid, which would do wonders for the credit score. Seeing as the Credit Union doesn't report those personal loans *grin* I think I will make my 2000 work like 3000.
And instead of paying about X a month towards X it will be X:
50 best buy 25
100 option A 0
117 loan 117
70 option B 45
and if Chris' plans go right Option C will be 0 as well or just at 50 to 50 for planning sake and that would then be the biggest chunk of the debt hovering at 1500 with the rest in theoretical decline from there.
so save about 150 bucks a month using it that way and look better overall, instead of just saving 150 and getting worse into debt, but on the downside, that would be only good until May or so when Insurance comes around. then having to plop down 1700 bucks as always would suck.
