Already an Offer

As it was a decent temperature, and not raining when I was up and about today, I decided to fix the wiring short that I knew about with the Porsche.  Ended up being the wire from the Alternator to the Starter. Thankfully, I had purchased 3 feet of wire when I went to the store, and ended up taking out the starter and simply replacing the length of wire from where the starter wires split, over the engine, and to the starter.

Then, I took the 914 up to Advance to double check that the battery was still good and that the alternator was a-okay. Right as the tech was starting to test the battery, some kid in a Dodge Magnum rolled up and offered to buy the car. I told him I'd only had it a month, but he still insisted on giving me his card in case I ever wanted to sell.

Hmm... Maybe for $30,000 I'd part with it already. hehehe, but it's fun nonetheless.

Ray did dee oh!

Though, it probably looked like I was trying to steal the Porsche, I figured out which wires needing hooking up to get the speakers and radio working. Now, there is the resemblance of tunes in the car. The antenna didn't go up, but I was able to have at least one radio station when going between Lawrence and KC.

One thing off the list of minor things to fix with the car.
