messed up a bit

Couldn't get to sleep, then overslept. Didn't make it to the office, went in to Half price and the girl didn't even go through my stuff, just offered $12, and I turned that down quick.

Got the video taken though. Went to Yoga

Now Nick and DeLinda both need radiator flushes, and both are still in KC

Already Short

Dang.... Just did a quick lookup of some bills, and I'm already short.

Got the Dish bill and they f'd up again, Chris doesn't want to lose TV, but it's not worth the headache to me. Also I'm not the one watching the tv.

I am short without Dish's 63.28 too.

Busy Friday Planned

I have to go to Independence again, to get my paycheck, since there is a new "accountant" at the office. I also have to go over to Half Price because I saw what my check was going to be.

So I have to load up pretty much everything on my bookshelf and head over there. Of course that means I also have to clear out the car and unhook the trailer beforehand.

Then I have to be over at LAC at 1:30 to shoot the video for my part of Master's Camp, and then Yoga at 4 until 5 and then I'm supposed to work on Nick's car after that.

Oh and I can't forget to pay my car insurance bill, which would be nice if randomly someone had 1200 for me.

Titleriffic

Got all the Self Defense and One Steps clipped up, and now I'm making the helpful hints titles to put before the katas. I have all but 3 done. However, my brother pointed out what color I should use instead and I have to resave them.

Oh and Yuriy calls right as I was heading in to the office, so I have to go tomorrow instead.

One Step with two meanings

Well I got the One Steps of the DV tape, and then broke them down into clips by belt color and move.

Now to do that with Self Defense, but alas I have to work in a few hours, so I'm going to sleep for now.

Great Semester

I, at least, am having a great time this semester. I hope my students are too. The real test is going to be in December of course, but I hope they are practicing at home and using the notes they are taking in class.

I would really wish for my Red Belts in Topeka to be ready ready ready for their test in the spring so they can all three be brown belts, but I do not know what is a good time to run a full mock test for them. I think that would be the best possible solution, and helper if they got to do that, but it would take an entire class, or more.

Comics

I also have full coverage with 500/1000 deductible for Comprehensive/Collision

I found out Astrokitty doesn't buy from individuals, and that Game Nut (not game guy) is the same with Nintendo Powers.

So I'm taking them in to 1/2 Price to see what I can see, unless something better comes up. I do have almost all the first 100 or more Nintendo Powers, and I'll see if they are interested in my Wizard collection.

however, two incidents within the last 36 months, both in 2006. So April 22nd of 2009 and November 2nd, 2009 my rate will go down, thus both of my next two periods if all goes well.

The down side of course is that I need to come up with the money by the 31st, and I don't know if I can.

I think Friday I'm going to take the comics to Astro Kitty and then to Half Price. Maybe I can get some of my Nintendo Powers off loaded too, perhaps at Game Guy; seeing as that's where I bought the last of them.

Kanji-lish

It is an awesome plug in for Firefox. It takes the first letter of the word on the page out and shows the Japanese Kanji for it if it is known. Hopefully this will help me in my endeavor to learn Kanji a little faster.

Honesty

I'm much liking The Shield this season, it's all about coming to terms with what you've done.

I wonder how long it takes the average person to realize that honesty is actually the easier path.

When you're truly honest about yourself, your feelings, and what you've done, it holds no power over you, and therefore no one else can have the power from those acts.

Also I was thinking about how Star Wars is awesome in the fact that because of it so many complex ideas are simply explained, but on the inverse, those ideas become trivialized in their repetition.

There was one more thought that has escaped me at the moment, perchance it will return.

Dead Girls Show

Magno too, very nice, and some cats from San Fran which were mellow but good.

They were some overly Scene kids there.

One girl had a Run DMC shirt, a scene sweater, scene glasses, those strange arm bands, and the overly conscious looks around.

Overall good times, now to make it through master camp tomorrow.

MMMMMmmm MMMM

Subway rocks. Well specifically the one in St. Joe.

The girls that work there always are a pleasure, and I have this thing with them that as long as my sandwich is $5 then they can make me whatever one they want, and I haven't be unsatisfied.

I was thinking that it's girls that are good at that. Because when it's a guy at Subway then I tell them what to do. Or perhaps it's just because we're opposites. However, I have noticed that women enjoy making my decisions for me, but perchance that is an unfair observation.

New Computer

Tower not the whole shebang just the tower. It's pretty fly though only takes about 30 seconds or less to boot up, unlike the old one. It has 8 GB of Ram which is 16x the old one, has an integrated graphics card that is capable of BluRay with an HDMI output and a Quadcore processor.

So it actually is capable of running vista. Which makes vista bearable.

Weight of Money

I wonder if that's why I'm so tired, not that there aren't about 10 reasons for me to be tired, but I wonder if that's the main one.

One Step Closer

Just 211 more techniques and 5 more Forms and I'll be up there in Kuk Sool. Unfortunate thing is I got a new belt just as my White Belt was starting to get nice and dirty.

Although I will say I felt sorry for my partner during techniques, I don't think he was ready to get thrown that hard/far. Luckily although there were 15 techniques with take downs only 3 were theoretically throws and only two hard ones and they were at the end.

Lacking in skills

Motivation. I have no idea how to motivate people. Well I suppose that's not true I mean I do have ideas, but to convince people to do things they don't want to... Well there's where I'm lacking.

Case in point, students' parents want me to talk them into continuing. Well honestly at their age I didn't have the choice myself. So, I know how great it's been in my life, but as for telling them that. It's what you get for dedicating yourself to something, which when you're a kid you can't see that. So it's up to the parents in my eyes.

I can tell you we have a lot to offer, but unless you come you won't know what it is. Really, honestly, I doubt most that come to class catch as much as is there, if any at all. I know for a fact people have problems leaving ego at the door. Also in this country we are overly competitive with others and very little with ourselves. Thus when I tell someone to be more humble with higher ranking, it doesn't sink in.

The higher you go the less you know, but that's not something most can grasp.

Laundry

I hate having to do laundry twice a week. Especially at home, because my bro's group always has laundry going.

Wicked Awesomeness

Today I was asked at the club about a girl that was working out. I knew her name and relayed that she reminded me of a girl I used to date, but strangely I could remember her name, but not the girl whom I dated.....

Although later today I did recall her name. Whew, I hope that makes me less of a D-bag.

Haywire Mouse

Spazzed out on me and then just went off screen... The new mouse that is. So I decided to make it a USB mouse instead and it's back for now..

Wii

So I went into get a new mouse, because mine broke on Tuesday, and what do you think Best Buy had, well a truck of Wii's on a Tuesday instead of Thursday. So now we have a Wii and it is AWESOME!!!!

Unfortunately I have not yet fixed the taillights on the trailer which have apparently ceased to work, and looking at the connector from the car the tail light connector maybe janked up.
