Have you ever regretted a rock show?

The answer my friends is blowing 中n the 風ind:

NO!

that should be the case, if not why did you go?

吾 mean 吾've gone to shows that were bad ideas as far as sleep and such, but regrets, not for rock shows.

Not a busy day

Slept in 'til 4pm or so, played a round of pharaoh. Had the phone turned off all day. Going to go ahead and file some but maybe another sleep session before work tomorrow at 8.

26.11.08

8 years

a lot has changed in 8 years, I just got my passport from my mom with my old picture in it. That brought back a lot of different things from the last 8 years. I was amazed at how much change has happened.

24.11.08

Omaha

and back today.

Up 3:30 off to Work until 8, then Omaha and beyond, then back to Lawrence, then off to Top City, and then back after a stop off at the sisters to help out a little.

Busy busy all 'n' all.

21.11.08

Almost Done

Well with 10 weeks plan anyway. Don't know how many weeks each will have yet, but I'm done with lesson plans for classes from week 1-11 since week 1 is the same with minor changes each time.

However, the plan for this semester requires a lot of parent helpers at ALL classes.

And now just to figure out 8 more games to polish off the game section I'll be completely done

What happens when I don't sleep

Well I get stuff done after about an hour of no sleep.

I came up with the 6 demos if classes approve one for each location for the spring tournament.

Also I made up the ballots for the weapon vote, and for the demo vote. Since I have to work at the office tomorrow I'll just print them up then, including the updated demo team permission form.

I think each demo has a chance to get first it solely depends on how much they practice.

20.11.08

Set in my ways

There wasn't anything special about that day we had off, since I don't have any kids. I had class the day before and if I remember right I was working on Karate stuff all day so I was in the zone for it. The time came and I was thinking hey I better get ready for class, and then I did and went out the door. I guess that sixth day is making me a bit more forgetful.

As for work, it's more money, I love days off, when and if I have them, I just have taken on more than I should have financially and time off is seen as a problem.

19.11.08

Abuse = non use

If you abuse it you have proven to yourself and everyone else that you cannot use something for its intended purpose; therefore, you shouldn't use it anymore. Perhaps you can try once to not abuse it, but if you fall into abuse again that is that.

No matter what it is. Whatever we do most is what we are best at, therefore we should do the most what we want to be the best at.

I have seen many fall victim to drugs, legal and illegal including alcohol and caffeine, television is a major one, and video games another. I know personally once it was pointed out how much television I watched I stopped, as I do periodically with many things, and unfortunately from time to time I catch myself slipping into that easy relaxation of watching, and suddenly wonder where the time went. That's why I try to only watch the Shield of any program and I have been missing that lately, so even though today we got satellite, and not by my desire, I think I'm done watching the idiot box.

Caffeine I use for it's intended purpose and as sparingly as possible.

I stopped drinking awhile back, not that I abused it, just I don't need it.

The only other drugs I knowingly take are when I get a cold bad enough to interfere with class and then it's some DayQuill, which one case usually last me about a year. Even then I only take enough to get through classes.

So I think we frequently should look inward to see if we do in fact abuse these things or allow certain activities to take up our time.

I know what I want to do for life is teach, and that is what I do most, so I am happy with that. I really don't play games that much, on the internet other than paperwork I am on just a few minutes. Video games, my brother is playing more than most other things, but I occasionally watch for about 15 minutes tops, and I haven't played the Wii since about the third day we got it, I beat a game, and then played a little with the family. Occasionally I play a little game on the computer, but usually I use it as a way to stay awake when I have too. I don't even use my phone that much, it's amazing if I use it even once a day. I drive to get where I'm going and that's about it.

Now it's hard to come up with vices to see if I do them... my day is usually sleep, clean self, get ready to go where I need to, or read/do work, go to work, work, come home, see if I have more work, and sleep, repeat....

Success

Got the books I wanted a couple weeks ago at Half Price, and I got a few for Japan, and more news is that I got a hotel for 37,500 instead of 45,000 total yen!!!!

Yeah!

13.11.08

I think I peed myself

It's official, Jose and I are going to Japan. I just completed the ticket purchases. Now I am in the process of getting a cheaper hotel, and maybe even a bunk or two twin beds in one room. The search I just did came up with 9,000 yen/night = $471.0065 Total for 5 nights. Which after flight our planned expenses had about 780.28 left over.. Hopefully I get that hotel which is having our own bathroom, and such, unlike most which have a communal one.

12.11.08

Forgot about no class tonight

Went through my usual routine, and started to turn in at Deerfield, then remember it's parent teacher night or something, and called my niece to verify that I was in fact forgetful and silly.

Computers

Again computers telling people and they believe.

Tried to book the Japan trip and one computer says no problems, and the other says not allowed. When I call them up they can't do shiz, but get the same response as before.

10.11.08

Down again

the email server is down again, this is twice in two weeks, and every time it rains out that away it's down....

GRRRRR

8.11.08

Tournament

Well it was fun as always, but there was no food or drink allowed inside, which meant dehydration central, then the afterward was canceled due to low attendance.

However, a few of us went anyway. Then we had a terrible waitress who didn't want to really wait on a large party of 10 and actually do her job. So not so much rehydration there, but it was good times with those who came.

6.11.08

One Less Headache

Got through with the DVD's and made the whopping sum of $48 for 30 DVD's.

At least it's done.

Took a bit the computers kept thinking I was an idiot and didn't know what I wanted to do so they kept automatically resizing everything, and moving it, but then I set Dave's pc up to do it with Photoshop and all was well.

5.11.08

stressful

That's a good word to describe it.

Hopefully it will pay off soon. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have the money to pay off car insurance before the 10th. Considering it's another $1100+ something tells me the LAC isn't paying me that much this next paycheck. Considering I would have had to work over 160 hours in the last two weeks, which, I know at that job I didn't.

On the plus side I only need to know what my Water bill is and then all but 4.76 is paid for this month.

Hopefully my sister is getting ready to cut the budget though. I think I need to sit down with her.

3.11.08

Master's Camp DVD

It's a done deal.

All I had to adjust was the speed of the scrolling titles.

Now that did take a bit but now it's done.

Also I had to adjust the cover because some of the DVD's I got had smaller print areas, but that was no big deal.

I found out that both Yuriy and Dave are now going to try and get me to make many more DVD's and possible on with a full fledged gig doing it.
