Bag is now workout ready
About the time, I was planning to go for a walk, I got the hankering for an n double a, p, p. After relaxing for a bit, I decided to remedy the bouncing situation of the "heavy" bag in the garage. While, I didn't notice until I got back that it has a double hang spot, I did go to the local sports place, and grab one 50 lb weight for a sale price of $47. I then went to Home Depot and got 4 bags of concrete, each weighing 60 lbs, for $3.5 each.
When I got back, I put the weight on the back, where there was no room for the concrete bags, and then I set the bags in pairs along the legs in the front. I did pour about 3 gallons of water on the bags in hopes that it would go through, and start to make them a bit solid throughout the course of my hour long workout.
For the most part the bag no longer rocks side-to-side or back-and-forth during my workout. Thus, I call it a successful use of my day. Next on the garage cleaning list, is a pile of no longer useful items that need to go to a big dumpster, and then perhaps hanging the family bicycles and gardening tools to keep everything out of the way, all of the time.
