NelNet Fraudster

I paid off another student loan, and suddenly, NelNet raised my minimum monthly payments. When I called up to request the required Legal Documentation stating the exact reasoning why they either fraudulently started the loan amortization or fraudulently adjusted payments in the middle of a loan.

The person on the line verified that there was no missed payments, late payments, or any other part of the agreement for the loans, that would cause the loan to go up.

She then said, "You do know that the interest accrues daily don't you?"

I retorted with, "You do know that the interest wouldn't affect the amortization schedule of equal payment amounts don't you?"

I then gave a 7 day ultimatum to have their legal department contact me with either my phone number on file, or my email, with email being preferred about how they perceived their play to be legal, or I would contact the Federal Loan Overseers for the second time in my history of loans about their lack of legally required transparency, along with the Attorney General's Office and more.

I made sure to let her know that it is not her responsibility as a phone answering employee, and she should not attempt to take it personal, but apparently it was not her day.
