6 year unknown grudge

So, my cousin invited me via my aunt to a party for another aunt. Then, when I checked up today for confirmation of the details, she told me 6 years ago she lost $20 when I was around her house. Though, I don't actually ever remember going to her house. Especially during the time I was working at least 3 jobs and teaching full time.

It humors me to the point that I won't bring it up that $20 is grudge worthy. I've had cars, every movie, and definitely more money taken, but a grudge takes a lot more from me.

As these things go, you can't just deny it and call it a day. So, as I know she is trying to be nice to her mum on that day, I'll simply plan to visit her mum the day before, and count my class I'm teaching as reason not to be able to make it. I'll then be able to see her in November for my grandma's 80th birthday party.

Seats and Headlight

So, I just got the headlight motor replaced, and BAM the headlight inner pivot breaks.
Tiny piece, but quite important:

So, I simply, removed the nut connecting the motor to the light, and put it in the up position, "supported" it with a couple of towels underneath, as I may need my headlight when driving around, and didn't want to have to mess with it each time.

Then, I was able to remove the 5-point harness style seats, and replace them with the originals, which are much easier to relax in, as they aren't as supportive/restrictive.  While I was there I lubed up the runners, so now they both move much more freely.

Packed all but my toothbrush and pajamas, so it should be an easy get up and go in the morning.

Menu Changeover

Wow, so my quick changeover on the menu system, turned into a debacle and I needed to call their support about 2 hours into it. Their documentation on "Essential POS" was 'essentially' that.

Got Thai House's menus changed over though, and tested, and retested, and printed, and signed out, and back in, and changed, and tested. As the software was seemingly fighting every step of the way to not change, I had to input items multiple times, delete previously functioning items, add new options that had previously worked, but stopped, and keep adjusting the screen repeatedly as it would mysteriously delete changes seemingly at random. Oh, and it crashed a few times.

The support guy helped with one piece, but wasn't willing to move forward with anything else. Their software is so convoluted, it's no wonder they couldn't figure out how to change anything.

Hopefully, now that we've tested every item on the menu over and again, it's too the good for the month changeover, and they start making a truer profit as their prices hadn't changed in over 5 years.
