Don't Embarrass Me

My buddy at work invited me out to a pool party on Sunday, and said, "Don't be embarrassing me by wearing a Speedo or something."

I replied, "Where do you shop that they sell something else?"

I thought he was going to fall over laughing.  He never did tell me where I could find a "regular" swimsuit...

Poor AMC 30

Went to go see Avengers at the 30, and they didn't have surge protectors on their projectors apparently.

Frickin right into the movie, post preview, and BAM power out, manager comes in and says the projector won't turn on.

Sutton did get our meals comp'd, as well as, our tickets for hopefully Wednesday to the Cinema Suites.

Toire wa doko desu ka?

Went into Lawrence today, and fixed my niece and nephew's leaking toilet, as well as, fixing the leak and broken shutoff valve on my sister's toilet.  Plus, I got a new seat for the niece and nephew's to replace the broken one, and gave my niece the money/order to finally get the tire put on for my sister's spare.

Nothing quite like working on one toilet first thing on a Sunday, except working on TWO!

Final charges to the sister: Hug and a smile.

Mad Skillz two-fold

Death to a brown recluse in my sleep right after it bit me, second mad skillz. Now, whether it died from tasting my blood, or my body's natural instinct to terminate a threat without waking me, is easily open for debate. However, the fact remains, that I am fine, and the spider is dead.
