Wanting wiser counsel

Before I revoke the rank, I wish to be given guidance. Currently I am on the fence, but leaning towards taking, especially after today. Sh has a multitude of items to address, and return. Many of which were supposed to be in my possession before the weekend, and are needed before well, yesterday. Her lack of responsibility is apparent, and lack of self-discipline therein. The drastic step of removing an earned rank is a hard decision to come to, especially in the case of my first Black Belt Student. I wonder more if that reason is from self not from them. Students are reflections of there teachers much as they are reflections of their parents. I can see her parents in her, little as she would like to know it, but unfortunately their lessons over the years, have sunk in and yet mine appear to have, at least temporarily been pushed to the side over selfish motives.
