once a thing is tainted can it ever truly be cleansed?
socialism-any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, a grandious idea yes? however, due to a little war of the world known as II now it's not so good.
swastika-a symbol or ornament in the form of a Greek cross with the ends of the arms extended at right angles all in the same rotary direction
now immediately thought of as a symbol of anti-Semitism or of Nazism
Communism-a theory advocating elimination of private property b : a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed
Amazing but when enforced it used as a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production
So really connotative meanings can replace original meanings... so many years of distance lie between words and their origins, in fact it doesn't even stop at just words.
distance.........in the end... we are all at a distance from the truth, jaded, tainted, and influenced by cultures, societies, propaganda, governments, and upbringing. Little can we know, do we know anything.
For one, I, do know nothing. a drop in the seas, a portion of one star in the multiverse. A long time ago I was told a black belt is when you start learning... I think I am still preparing for that mephoric black belt.
Watching videos of my youth I realized where my desire came from for a certain thing, but then as well I learned how I have grown since then, but also how much better that they would be than me... and how I hoped they too have grown... alas their age and wisdom in areas then surpassed what I can ever acheive... but still too do I realize they will never come to see their other sides flaws...... alas, babylon.
