Current annoyance
Is people not reading/responding to an entire message. They are becoming more and more Americanized in their reading, as they speak/listen. So many people are not reading an entire segment and make a predetermination before understanding what is being asked.
Many cases in point, I either give multiple counter points, or I ask multiple questions, and yet I either get a generic reply to my counter with nothing to do with my counter, or a single answer to an unknown question.

While I agree with you to an extent, sometimes it may be because they have nothing to say on the other points and don't want to just say, "I don't know." or something like that.
I've been having that with my class I'm taking. The teacher is not bright, and it's most obvious when you ask a question she can't answer properly. She also answers with things that have nothing to do with what was asked.
