Missed lesson

It came to me while driving:

The tree bends and sways with the wind, but branches fall from time to time. The tree allows the branches that are no longer flexible enough to break, and be gone from the whole. When one has done so much, but yet a part becomes otherwise immovable, then it is okay to let it go.
