Superman

To use the grading system of scene-stealers.com, rock fist way down. Went to see the movie with some friends on Saturday. Thankfully we went to a cheaper theater, as it wasn't really worth the $6.50 we spent to see it there.

Russell Crowe's character was pretty hilarious, but clearly meant to be a serious character. Looks like his daughter got a part to play the worst rendition of "Ring of Fire" that I've heard.

The film must have been rated PG-13 for language, but they still did a terrible job with the military guys. Having two people from the Matrix in the movie didn't really help, as we kept expecting Neo to show up.

*spoiler alert*

A glossed over fact of the movie, was that when Superman killed General Zod, he also killed the family he was trying to protect by killing Zod. He twisted his head directly toward the family while Zod was using his laser beams.

Throughout the movie, he clearly didn't care about collateral damage. At one point he tells people to get inside, and then nearly demolishes every building on the street in the fight. One of the first buildings destroyed in this battle was a set of grain silos, so much for respecting your farmer father.
