I'm not sure you CAN teach patience. I mean, when a child is young, you just don't give in as fast. For example, you are on the phone and the kid wants milk, you finish your conversation THEN get them the milk. As an older child or an adult, you should have that skill. You should be able to understand that sometimes you have to wait for things. A garden grows slowly, but if you just wait, there will be a flower or a nice vegetable garden. You have to cook dinner before you can eat. Both things that take some level of patience, both things that an adult can understand.
