Intent is rather irrelevant when one's actions produce a certain outcome

I could intend to create a cake but the outcome could be a bomb


This in response to the people talking about the intent of the Megan's Law sex offender listing which appears that one fool in a trailer court misread, completely skipping the OR, and decided his neighbor was a sex offender and killed him.

Of course hilariously the guy that stabbed the supposed molester had been in jail for aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon..... hmmm perchance he should have been the one neighbors feared more.
