Things not spoken

It was laughing almost all day on that one topic. What people choose to say aloud and what they don't. Well that and contemplating how many people are eye raped by other motorist each day after two guys in a truck nearly lept out their windshield to check out the girls in the car next to them.

If you know why you honestly do things, but don't always tell someone the true reasonings, are you technically lying?

I don't think this is lying; at least not always. I mean, if there is reason to not say something, then you have to think of that. Is there a legit reason? Like if a friend tells you that they like someone, and you don't tell that person. Are you lying? No, you are protecting your friend, or allowing your friend to make his own move. Or even if you invite a group of people to go somewhere and the friend that likes the other friend tells you that you should invite her, then you do. Sure, you have a reason to invite her without telling her. However, you aren't lying if you just say something like "hey we are all hanging out later, want to come?"

Anyway, if you are sparing someones feelings, or protecting someone, it's ok. If you are doing it to be hurtful, then maybe that's what you need to reexamine.
