no to do but still productive

Well I went to work from 5-13:45
then worked on Nick's Ford Probe, giving it a four wheel brake job from 2-6, mainly time consuming was the fact that the special tools that I needed, and then the bearing had to be pressed out, plus had to go to two places to get all the parts.
But still beats $400 plus somewhere since let's see:
Rear rotor and front pads - $113.??
Rear pads-$17.99
Bearing pressed in and out, plus grease-$7
and I quoted him about $200 thinking it would just be the fronts or the rears, and we did all four for his price of about $140

however I did notice that within a couple of months he does need both front axles replaced...

Then dropped off the vehicle, saw the buddies, drank a couple o' beers, and was told Wednesday as repayment for no labor charge and speed of job with doing it on the drop of a hat I get into their opening gig for a K.I.S.S. cover band at the Bottleneck on the guestlist, plus I don't have to buy any booze all night, apparently, according to Nick I must get "stupid drunk", but knowing me I will get barely even borderline.


Now off to write my grievance form against them giving me two points AGAIN! horse....8-)
